Delete Your Account
HabitIt gives you full control over your data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time.
How to delete your account from within the app
- Open the HabitIt app on your device.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll to the Account section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion. You may be asked to re-authenticate for security.
⚠ This action cannot be undone. Once you confirm, your account and all associated cloud data will be permanently deleted.
What gets deleted
- Your account credentials (email, auth tokens)
- All habits, journeys, journal entries, to-dos, and actions stored in the cloud
- All logs, streaks, achievements, and statistics stored in the cloud
- Shared profile access (revoked for anyone you shared with)
- Subscription association (subscriptions themselves must be canceled through Apple App Store or Google Play separately)
What is kept
- Local data on your device remains until you uninstall the app. To remove local data as well, uninstall HabitIt after deleting your account.
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics that cannot identify you personally may be retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Can't access the app?
If you are unable to delete your account through the app (for example, you can't sign in or no longer have the device installed), you can request deletion by email:

Please include the email address associated with your HabitIt account. We will verify your request and delete your account within 30 days.
Canceling a subscription
Deleting your HabitIt account does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription. To cancel your HabitIt Pro subscription:
- iOS: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → HabitIt → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → HabitIt → Cancel subscription
