Open the app, tap the + button on the Home tab. The first time you do this you'll see a quick walkthrough. After that you can pick from 100+ templates or create a habit from scratch with a custom name, emoji, color, goal, and frequency.
A journey is a multi-day plan with a start point, a goal, and an end date - useful for things like "quit smoking in 30 days" or "run a 5K". HabitIt automatically generates a daily plan that gradually moves you from your starting point to your goal. You log against the plan day-by-day.
No. HabitIt works fully offline without any account. Sign-in is optional and only needed if you want cloud sync (data on multiple devices), or to share your progress with someone else (Pro feature). You can always sign in later from Settings.
When creating or editing a habit, scroll to the "Sync with Apple Health" / "Sync with Health Connect" toggle. Turn it on and grant the system permission. The app reads only the data type you select for that habit (e.g., just steps), and only at the times you have HabitIt open or it's running in the background.
On iOS, the app uses HealthKit's background delivery so step counts stay current even when HabitIt is closed. On Android, the app pulls the latest values when you open it and on a periodic schedule.

To delete your account and all cloud data, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, or visit our account deletion page. Local data is removed automatically when you uninstall the app.
Data export (CSV) is on our roadmap. Email us if you need a manual export in the meantime.
Tap Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android) you used for the original purchase. If it still doesn't restore, email us with your purchase receipt.
Email support@habitit.app with as much detail as you can. Reproducible bugs (steps to repeat the issue) get prioritised. If you can attach a screen recording, even better.
